I have seem to have found A LOT of my very favorite things in the last few months, I thought I might share them with you. You can thank me later ;)
So this is funny, my husband Wren has a class with this girl. He came home on the first day and said, "Sav, there is this girl that sits next to me. She smells amazing but I don't dare ask her what perfume she wears because I don't want her to think I am hitting on her but I want you to buy it." I said, "She will think you're hitting on her, but find it out." So after a couple of weeks, he finally mustered up the courage to ask. And this is it.... and I LOVE it.... and I hope she doesn't have a crush on my husband now ;)
THIS conditioner my friends, is seriously THE BEST! It is super thick, which I need, and smells phenomenal. My hair smells good for a couple days from it. Like abnormally good. And it's called resurrection, what more do you need to know?
K I had never used eye makeup remover until last year. Seriously, I know way weird huh? Now that I have used it, I don't know how I ever didn't use it. This stuff is the best, a couple quick wipes and all your eye makeup is bu bye. Saves time getting ready for bed which means more to me than you know ;) I also have some friends that sell it too, so let me know if you want any.
This is fantastic. Sad for Sav, she has jet black curly eyebrows, thank you daddy. So I dab a little of this on and my monstrosity of an eyebrow(s) stay in place.
My cousin introduced me to this a couple years ago. I would have never thought I would ever wear hot pink eyeshadow, but I promise it is so dang cute on. Plus it stays on all day. Buy it, you won't be sorry!
This is another favorite from Mary Kay. It is a cheek highlighter. I love it because it makes my skin look clear and smooth while giving it some shimmer. And it's the first blush that doesn't make me break out so yay for it. I buy the "Pink Porcelain" color.
Okay my face has some issues. It's super shiny, yet somehow feels dry, and breaks out. I finally found something that works amazingly! This face wash has just enough whatever it has to make my face not break out, while not making it too dry. I love it. If it works for me, it will work for everyone!
Okay this stuff is a life saver. As I mentioned earlier, my face is off the charts shiny, but I hate putting layer after layer of powder foundation on my face, I hate the look of too much foundation plus it makes me break out. Surprise, surprise. So one day as I was browsing the isles at Tarjay, I saw this diamond in the rough. It's powder, but I buy the "colorless" kind, and serious, you can't even tell I have anything on but it makes my face not shiny and I can reapply it and reapply it as much as my little heart desires without even seeing it. I have been waiting for this my whole adolescent life, finally. You came a little late in the game Sonia Kashuk, but you're here now and my oily face in pictures thanks you ;) So thank you very much!
This mascara is awesome. It's water proof, stays on all day, doesn't smudge, goes on super smooth, and somehow comes off easy.
This face lotion is also by Image and in the Clear Cell line. It doesn't make your face too dry or too oily, and clears it up like a charm. Why do I get zits when I'm 25? Winner gets a million.
K I am obsessed with this Mirabella eye liner. I rarely wear eyeliner because it's such a pain in my you know what to put on. But when I do wear it, I use this. I get it in black. You need a good eyeliner brush to apply it, Mirabella also has good brushes. I just get my brush damp and then run it along the eye shadow pod and it glides on my eyes like a dream and it STAYS on like a dream too. Seriously, stays on all day without smudging. Try it, I DARE you ;)
Last, but most definitely not least, in fact it's probably the best on this list, is this chemical free hair relaxer. I was skeptical to try it when I heard about it, but after using it, it's like a gift from heaven. Really. I have curly hair, so when I blow dry it with the intention of straightening it, all hell breaks loose. My hair is, no joke, everywhere. But this my friends, calms it like there's no tomorrow. I blow dry my hair about 50% (I know, what the heck does that mean?) just so it's dry enough to where it's still damp (huh?), but not too wet to where this stuff will be dripping out of your hair after you apply it. So anyway, after you PARTIALLY dry it (should have said that in the first place ;)) apply a fair amount of this bad boy in your hair and finish drying it, and then straighten. A lot of people probably wouldn't even need to use a straightener after. I barely need to (which is a down right miracle) but let's just say this is the year of good hair days. FINALLY!
Thank you for listening to me ramble, and you are VERY welcome for the good tips ;)
