The last week has been so fun, it made waking up this Monday morning extra hard. Wren had last Wednesday through Sunday off and it was nothing short of amazing. We spent Thanksgiving with Wren's family up at Snowbird ski resort where we attended the most delicious brunch, and relaxed the rest of the day in the room they have up there. Wren's mom did a sweet little thought and gave us cute notebooks to write things that we are grateful for throughout the year in. And then of course we ate the tasty pies she made. Wren made the comment that not only did we eat until we were completely and disgustingly full, but that we ate until we hated ourselves. And then a couple hours later we loved ourselves again and ate more :)
The rest of the long weekend was spent sleeping in, taking naps, eating monkeys, eating cookies, many DIY home projects (lots to share later), and spending time with my precious little family.
YAY FOR DADDY BEING HOME!
And of course we had to go pick out a Christmas tree for the first time with our babe...
He loved it.
