Merino Kids Baby Sleep Sack Review!

I was contacted on behalf of Merino Kids, wondering if I'd like to review their Merino Kids Baby Sleep Sack. I was so excited because Bear had a sleep sack he'd been using, but was growing out of very quickly. I jumped at the chance!

When I first opened the package, I saw the sleep sack nicely folded inside a pretty little fabric envelope, with a Merino Kids tag sewed to it...
...it would seriously make the cutest baby shower gift! When I took it out, my first thought was, "This is some serious sleep sack business!" It's made of theeeee nicest and softest material and is super adorable. Every time I slip Bear's chubby little bod into it, I feel like it's almost too nice to sleep in! Honestly. And it's really long, so there's tons of room for him to move around and to grow into. It even has a safety belt aperture so I can easily transfer him in and out of his car seat. How awesome is that!? One of my favorite things about it, is it "naturally absorbs and releases moisture to create the perfect safe micro-climate in any season for rooms 64°F to 80°F." I'm always so worried whether he's too hot or cold at night and if he's getting stuck in his blanket, so this helps ease both of those worries for me.

Here is some information straight from their website that I think sells this sleep sack by itself and the other reasons I'm in love with it!:

  • World's best and #1 top-selling merino sleep sack in the USA and worldwide. Others can't beat Merino Kids' patented iF award-winning design, premium fabric and superior workmanship.
  • For parents who want the very best. Crafted by master tailors from luxuriously soft Superfine Merino wool. 100% natural, itch-free and allergy-safe. Organic cotton outer layer for extra durability.
  • Textile scientists recommend the Merino Kids sleep sack. Baby doesn't wake up cold or overheat. Naturally absorbs and releases moisture to create the perfect safe micro-climate in any season for rooms 64°F to 80°F.
  • First sleep sack in the world to achieve the stringent UK BSI standard for baby sleep sack safety, and the only merino sleep sack certified to this safety standard. Baby has freedom to move yet can't slip underneath or wriggle out.
  • Fits babies 0-2 years safely and comfortably. Innovative safety belt aperture makes it easy to transfer sleeping baby between car seat, stroller and nursery to maintain sleep routine.

Are you sold yet??? They've thought of everything!

We absolutely loooove this sleep sack and would highly recommend it! Thank you, Merino Kids, for helping parents sleep a little more soundly at night, knowing their babies are comfortable and safe!

Wood You Like a Jord Watch?

The awesome Jord watches sent us over this cool Fieldcrest Series Black Wood Watch.Wren had actually been wanting a cool wood watch like this for a while, so it's fun that it's totally gender neutral and we can both wear it! Jord has so many cool different wood watches to choose from. "Jord watches are designed to take people back to nature and away from today's metal and rubber", which makes us love them even more!

It also came packaged in the nicest box so wood (no pun intended!), be the perfect present! With Christmas a couple months away, here's a great gift idea!
Thanks Jord! We love the watch!

And on a side note, these pictures are making me so excited for fall weather! It was rainy here on Sunday, and we were all able to bust out our sweaters and flannels. Fall is my all time favorite season (maybe because my birthday and Halloween both reside in this season!? AND New Baby's birthday too!) But the golden light, the beautiful changing leaves, and the crisp sweater weather Utah gets in fall time, well nothing beats it. Nothin' beats how handsome my guys are up there either ;)

If you're from Utah, you can check out my fall bucket list here from last year. There's some really fun things to do during fall time on there! Happy FRIDAY!!!

The Best Straightener You Can Get!

Misikko sent me this Hana Elite Flat Iron late last year:
And just like the HANAair Hair Dryer they sent me (see post here), it did not disappoint! Like at all. I wanted to give it some significant time before reviewing it on my blog. After all, the most important quality in a flat iron for me is that not only does it make my hair feel super smooth, but that it doesn't damage it in the process. I can happily say that my hair has never felt healthier and I have been using it for almost six months now. I straighten my hair every time I blow dry it so that's saying a lot! I can straighten my entire head in three minutes flat. Also saying a lot for me! Each section I straighten really only needs one or two passes of the straightener and, wala, it's straight. I don't know what they've done, but Misikko has seemed to have made the perfect straightener. And trust. I've used a million top grade straighteners over my lifetime because my hair is so curly and because I went to cosmetology school. Hands down my favorite straightener yet! If you've been looking for a good one, this is so worth the money. I promise!
Thanks Misikko!

Anjolee Review

Anjolee contacted me a couple months back to see if I would be interested in reviewing an engagement ring. With some of the closest people to me having gotten/getting married on March 8th, April 8th, and May 8th (crazy I know), I thought it was perfect timing! Anjolee has beautiful engagement rings and wedding rings, as well as tennis bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Their site is easy to navigate and their prices very affordable! If you're looking for a special item for that special someone, look no further than Anjolee!

I love my ring Anjolee, thank you!

Dresslily Bags!

Dresslily knocked my socks off (is that the saying?) when I received these bags. The first is a black tote that is of such great quality. I had been looking for a black leather bag for awhile and this one exceeds my expectations! I love the zipper pockets on both sides of it, as well as the many little compartments on the inside of the bag. Everywhere I go, people complement on it.
The backpack is great when needing to have both hands to grab a sprinting Radcliff! I have other backpacks that I've tried but they are all super flimsy so just flop over when I set them down, making the black hole that is my bag, even blacker. This one holds its shape and  is so easy to navigate through. Like the black bag, it has a two zipper pockets on the outside of the bag, as well as plenty of storage on the inside "for all of the many things a woman on the go needs" (a direct quote from my mom). I just checked on Dresslily's website and both of these bags are sold out but they have so many other similar options to choose from so please go check them out today! And the best part of all? They are all insanely inexpensive. Good quality for the price. Amen, hallelujah. Go check em out.

A Perle Market Review!

One of my very closest friends, Sara, just launched the cutest clothing line called Perle Market. I am so excited for her in the this new venture and jumped at the chance in helping to spread the word! The items she sent me to review came packaged in such fun wrapping that would be perfect for gifts!

First up is this Aztec Top.
I love how this sweater fits. It's loose and tight in all the right areas, if that makes sense. The thin knit-like fabric is warm enough to go out in the brisk weather but doesn't smolder me when inside (my biggest pet peve!) And the print? It speaks for itself. I love this sweater.
Next up, is this Stripe Shirt and these Trendsetter Pants.
The fit on both of these items are comfortable yet still so flattering which is what this mother needs loves. I love the thin/silky material of the pants and the scrunched sides on the shirt. Both of these items could actually be great maternity clothes as well.
Everything on their website is adorable though. Plus it's always free shipping on already incredible prices so you really can't go wrong. AND they are giving you an additional 15% off your entire order using code savannahspeeps so hurry and head over there today! Thanks Sara!

A Pea Coat Review, Dana-Leigh Apparel!

Dana-Leigh Apparel sent me over this amazing White and Grey Speckled Pea Coat and I haven't taken it off since. In my opinion, a lot of pea coats are either not warm enough or not comfortable enough, but awesomely enough (how many times can I say "enough" in that sentence???), this is neither of those. Because let's face it, style is just not worth it to be cold and uncomfortable! I also really love the material it's made of. It's high quality and will last me for a long while. Oh. And you know how some coats get those weird little lint bally things on them after awhile? This one won't. I had the hardest time choosing an item from them because everything is adorable! You've really gotta check it out. And... AND! Use code RUP20 to receive 20% off your entire order. How rad is that? As rad as Rad. It's just as simple as that! ;)

In Lieu of What's To Come!

This dress is in lieu of the warmer weather to come later this week. It is predicted to be a whopping FIFTY FIVE degrees here in the Salt Lake valley on Friday. Now that's something to shout about! I am looking so forward to springtime with my buddy. I can already see him climbing the stairs at the playground, only to get to the top and be too scared to go down the slide. Oh the coercing that will go down! Or watch him run over to all the flowers on our walks, giving them a big old sniff, and telling me how good they smell. Or just laying out in our front yard in March, like we did last year, listening to music and drinking lemonade. Only this year he'll be able to talk and walk and just be a much funner friend, really, because he was kind of a mute back then ;) So I think it's safe to say I'm reeeeally entering into spring fever right about now.

Now let's talk about the whole point behind this post; this dress. eShakti sent me yet another adorable dress this past week. I can't go on enough about how much I love their dresses and this one is no exception! With eShakti, you get to choose the style of sleeve, neckline, and the length of dress you'd like, as well as giving them all of your measurements to provide your body with the perfect fitting dress! I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I love a dress that covers, and flatters in all the necessary areas, and eShakti does just that. If you haven't visited eShakti yet, your crazy ;) Now I think Easter is the perfect incentive to go buy yourself a spring dress, don't you? It will be here sooner than you think!

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

Every girl needs a little black dress, right!?
Just as every nursery needs a little super hero action...
And while we're on the subject, I think every birdy finger needs a gold and silver ring set with initials standing for Wren and Radcliff, if those guys are your thing like they are mine.
And most definitely every kitchen needs this mama's favorite saying from her favorite book that always makes her teary. Because while I'm cooking and cleaning for the millionth time every day, I realize it's all worth it.

This post is in collaboration with JANE. They were kind enough to let me pick some of my favorites from their daily deals and boy was it hard choosing. Everything they have is adorable! JANE has a huge variety of deals to choose from everyday. Everything I received was shipped promptly and is of fantastic quality. If you are not a subscriber, do so here today! I promise you will be happy you did.

Joules, It's Where the Good Stuff Is!

This post is in collaboration with Joules, a website that had me at hello :) Their items are so unique, of fantastic quality, and surprisingly comfortable.
I was sent over these navy laced rain boots:
As well as this adorable cassie check french navy skirt:
I'm a little too obsessed with the rain boots and wear them everywhere I go. I've never owned a boot, or even a shoe, that's been as comfortable. And that my dear friends is a little Christmas miracle because normally, you see, most shoes hurt my feet. Even tennis shoes hurt my feet. C'mon people, what's with that!? But of all the shoes I've loathed the most, rain boots were it. They are so annoyingly heavy and clunky and my feet start to ache literally within minutes of putting them on. So I was a bit hesitant in choosing them, but they were so cute. How could I not? And I also knew the I-will-take-a-walk-everyday-no-matter-what-you-can't-stop-me slave driver child would, well, do just that so they'd be perfect for our frigidly cold walks. And boy have they been! They have the best traction for walking through the snow and jumping in the puddles is like child's play (no pun intended!) We like to make a scene. So basically, what I'm saying is... Everybody needs a pair, especially, and I mean SPECIALLY, if you got one a dem slave drivers like I've got. The old ball and chain I tell you!

The skirt? I think its awesomeness kind of speaks for itself. So go check out Joules today and pick your pretty self out somethin pretty already! :)

And for the record, I'll always feel like a dummy posting pictures of myself like this, but hey... You know what? It's all in the name of helping others find out about bitchin finds, so whatever.

HANAair Professional Hair Dryer Review!

Always have my little friend trying to "help" out...
About a month ago, I was contacted by Missiko to see if I would be interested in testing out their HANAair Professional Hair Dryer, by HANA. I'll be honest... At first, even as a girl who went to beauty school, I wondered how a professional hair dryer could really be that much better than your basic blow dryer from the grocery store. They both just blow air, right? But I was still excited to give it a whirl! It came packaged at cute as it could be. There were little boxes with various things in them such as nail files, bottles of hand sanitizer, an eyelash curler, little pink bags, a hair straightener travel bag, and mini pink roses. I knew this wasn't going to be your typical blow dryer, and let me tell you what... After using it for a couple weeks now, it truly is incredible! I cannot believe how soft it makes my hair. I've always had curly hair that frizzes up lots when I round brush it. It still frizzes a bit, but I could actually leave the house now before straightening it after using the HANAair blow dryer. I seriously would recommend this blow dryer to anyone looking for a high quality one! Thank you HANAair! You've made my blow drying experience that much easier every morning. Who am I kidding? I don't wash my hair every morning. But you catch my drift right? It's the best hair dryer ever. Go buy it!
