Does anyone else have the issue of attacking of the sewing thread going on?  

I know I do.  It's like everywhere.  I have millions of different colors, but every time I start a new project it sounds like torture to have to go look through the thread I already have.  As a result, I end up just buying a new one.  I know, super lazy and wasteful.  

Well I was at Walmart the other day and I came across this precious little thing...

Only $9.98.  What a clever way to keep your thread organized huh?  And actually be able to FIND it when you need it.  I should have invented it...

I wasn't digging the probably-will-give-me-slivers-look of it, so I spray painted the bad boy green...

Just look how convenient this will be?

You need green thread Sav?  Oh okay, it's right in front of your face because you are so organized Sav.

New Glasses and a Giveaway Winner!

Do you ever feel like we hang onto things and hang onto things, and it’s like… WHY?
I feel that way about a lot items in the kitchen.  After so long, really it’s just time to replace certain things.  We use them everyday, they're bound to get gross after so long.  Like cups.  We especially use our cups more than most.  Our dishwasher can be completely full of them in like two days flat because all we live off of is smoothies.
Cups are crucial in the Withers family abode.

Let's take a closer look shall we?

What’s inside you ask?  Dried up smoothie particles that despite how hard I scrub, just won’t come off.  

Why’s my glass cup no longer see through?  There’s the million dollar question..... 

BUT

I just found me the deal of the century at no other place than All a Dollar, or as my mom likes to call it, All a Buck.

These glass cups are super heavy duty, I couldn’t believe they were only $1!
I splurged and got 18 new cups, but guess what?  The total was $18.
Bet you didn’t know that….
And I'm throwing all my old ones out.  I couldn't be happier.

Not a fan of Coke, but thought these cups were so cute.

They will be perfect for a tall cold glass of ice water in the wee hours of the night.

And these mother loads will be perfect for our smoothies.  

Okay SIDE note, seriously I hate that places put stickers on everything.  Those stickers were not BUDGING!  Hence I didn't take them off for the pictures.  

Are stickers REALLY necessary?  

NO.

Get with the times people.
